rivet software package provides Robust Independent Validation of Experiment and Theory, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install rivet
rivet is installed in your system.
Make ensure the rivet package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rivet *
You will get with rivet package name, version, architecture and description in a table
